Her reputation preceded her. As Bourne approached the lectern for public comment — shouting about “healthy, whole women!” — scores of district-area teachers got up from their seats and walked out of the meeting.
Bourne went ballistic.
“Ask those teachers to stop interrupting my comment!” she shouted at the meeting chair. “I want my time back! I want my time back!”
I hope one day she realizes she’s never getting any of it back, and decides to spend it on things that don’t ruin other people’s lives.
The chance is there, but far too many of these kinds of people hate for life. Like toxic waste, they just get more and more vile with age.
Frankly, IIRC having a nonbinary daughter is what initially set her off. And if the estrangement of a child doesn’t bodily smack you across the face such that you reconsider your life choices, not much else ever will.
