    By the time someone has enough millions to toss them around to various causes, their race is a rounding error in their level of privilege. All this does is try to reframe a class vs class struggle as a race vs race struggle.

      It’s so funny that you guys are getting up voted when I said almost the exact same thing and hammered for it. Love the consistency. I have the exact view you do. Adding white to this feels performative rather than actually wanting too solve the problem. It’s “woke 1.0” vibes.

        Yours came across as a pithy comment coming from a “woke bad” reactionary frame commonly associated with right wing influencers. Mine was rhetorically better for Lemmy, and included a clear “no war but class war” dog whistle that appeals to a large crowd here.

        We agree on the substance on this issue, but your rhetoric doesn’t match your audience.
