I didn’t say anything about impeachment. What would matter if they did anyway? A presidential impeachment has never ended in consequences. No, they just want have the ability to jam through controversial bills or wars. Congress won’t just go along with them.

No, Red Hat for the most part is not in the security game. There is OpenSCAP. Red Hat OpenShift does have Advanced Cluster Security available. But generally no Red Hat doesn’t make security products like that. I guess maybe the closest would be using Satellite to manage clients and see their compliance. I don’t know if Satellite can measure OpenSCAP compliance… Yes, there is a lot of security built in, but no they don’t really do many explicitly security products.

I’m not sure. I think they were reacting to buyers, not the other way around. I remember the late 90s and early 2000s. SUVs and crossovers were relatively new and exploding in popularity. Partly as a back lash against the “soccer mom” minivan stereotype. I never liked them, but I also never liked sedans. I’m definitely a wagon guy. It’s sad that they all became crossovers.

People really weren’t buying those though. It’s a hot take, but I think they made the right choice on that one. They followed it up with the wrong choice to not develop hybrid wagons/cross overs. I don’t think anyone saw the return of the minivan.

You’re correct, but also completely wrong at the same time. Yes, you can have a lighter bullet that is faster that carries the same kinetic energy. It might even hold its energy longer if it’s more aerodynamic. Where you are wrong is the ability to transfer that energy. A full metal jacket would pass clean through the target without transferring most of its energy into the target. A lead bullet that deforms is going to dump a lot more energy into the target. That’s why you have hollow points and other bullets that are designed to petal and fragment on impact. For hunting the goal is a bullet that does pass all the way through creating two wounds to bleed out and cutting as large of a wound channel as possible. Which is different than say self defense where you want a bullet that dumps all of its energy as fast as possible so you don’t over penetrate and hit your neighbor.

I guess all of that falls in line with the force being concentrated. It just really isn’t related to density as much as you’re implying. Unless I misunderstood what you’re saying.

I did not know that about the primers. I’ll be more considerate about washing up after range time. I always made sure to wash my hands after the range and after cleaning the firearms. I never really thought about the particulates on the clothing. Thanks for the info.

DOGE had two points. Number one was to gut all the agencies that were investigating Elon so hard that they would have to drop them. Number two was for Elon to extract as much data as he could. It was a smashing success for the South African.

Shocking that the people saying the government doesn’t work didn’t do any work when they became the government. Who could have seen that coming? They’re just executing their plan to “starve the beast”. By reducing its funding until it’s so ineffective that they can claim it doesn’t work then privatize and make money from the services all while providing a worse service.
