My left side doesn’t respond, but test the right and the left jerks. Confuses every doctor who tests it, and a couple have called in colleagues to witness.

The kicker (ha!) There is a trigger near my neck, and another in my lower back that causes the left leg to kick. I’ve warned physiotherapists and doctors about it, and kicked a couple when they find the trigger point.

I just dodge out of the way, my reflexes are good, they always miss.

Me too. I ended up having to go to three neurologists and the last one told me that I either have some kind of polyneuropathy or nothing and his money was on nothing. It has been some years and I hope he was right.

In my case, if they paid attention to my medical history it shouldn’t be much of a surprise to them, and yet it always seems to be.
