    Ukraine was forced to attack Russian refineries by Trump’s war on Iran. That war sent fuel prices skyrocketing, and thereby also Russia’s oil revenue, which Putin uses to fund the war. In order to hinder Russia’s ability to wage war, Ukraine had no option but to start blowing up Russian refineries. At least that way Russia doesn’t profit from Trump’s inflated oil prices.

    And with Russian strikes against Ukrainian energy infrastructure, it’s impossible to argue it’s not a legitimate target. If Trump doesn’t like it, he has to provide an alternative. Complaining about the consequences of his actions isn’t going to fix anything.
