There are memes like “when you have to prove that you’re jewish” or crass jokes about people standing out due to their lack of foreskin, but i remember hearing that a huge swathes of American men are circumcised - it’s like 49%. Jesus.
If literally half of every men are circumcised, why is it even a remarkable topic to Americans? How did it become such a meme?
im surprised its just half. Im in a major metro area and unless there is something about circumcision that gets you to go to the gym more I would say its much higher in my area. Im pretty sure most every catholic in my area has it done.
Probably from the Northeast or Great lakes area then? It’s half the US population, but it’s not evenly distributed. It’s much less common on the west coast.
