Primary establishment Dems with progressives which requires voting in the primaries, then you prevent Republicans from winning generals by electing the democrats. In like the two fucking counties in the entire country where third parties are actually viable, go ham. Otherwise you’re getting republicans elected. And republicans are worse than democrats, full stop. Anyone who doesn’t agree with that isn’t a serious person and is working for republicans.
I agree that Republicans are worse than Democrats and I also agree that it is important to get progressive Democrats into power. I just wish the Dems in power would also hold these opinions.
My frustrations with the current Dem leadership is that they are following the advice of influential political analyst James Carville to “roll over and play dead” when it comes to opposing the Republicans, but are fighting tooth and nail when it comes to opposing progressive candidates. It really feels like the Dem leadership is not serious and is working with the Republicans.
