    EV isn’t fixing shit… families just need to stop owning 4 cars. all EVs do, is shit the garbage from pile A, to pile B…

      I agree it’s not the best answer, but don’t let perfect be the enemy of good. And I didn’t say EVs were the only answer, proper public transit and passenger rail need to be a top priority. But after 70+ years of car-centric suburban sprawl, connecting everyone with effective public transit isn’t going to be feasible in the short term, and we can’t pretend EVs aren’t going to be an important part of the solution.

      Electrification also extends beyond passenger cars, commercial and public service vehicles of all sorts will need to be electrified as well. If we want businesses to adopt electric, we have to make it viable and affordable to do so, and in a way that still fits into their operations.
