If this article is saying anything true, then the DSA is making huge mistakes associating itself with Castro and then it’s other big agendas are eliminating police and getting rid of public prisons(imo, everyone involved with private prisons should be sentenced to death. It’s almost as bad as a capitalist health care system).
Getting rid of cops and standard prisons are a pie in the sky option right now. I get that it’s a good goal as long as we create a more humane system but a fledgling party can’t expect to push that and expect that people aren’t going to push back. Thanks for listening.

This is the DSAs Program/platform. I read the article, but it does little to explain DSAs actual program. Many of the parts “contested” are long term goals, not immediate ones.

I have no idea how you got the idea that I implied we shouldn’t vote for progressives. I’m pointing out terrible strategies that will easily be attacked and stupid voters will fall for those attacks like usual.

Yup, glad I’m not part of the DNC and haven’t had any respect for them in a long time. But promoting Castro is a stupid fucking idea
