Pay attention, I’m actually saying the exact opposite of that. Socialists tend to be wealthy people that have gone to university that learned from weird professors that “actually real socialism has never been tried because Russia was agrarian blah blah blah”.
Everyone is a bit socialist when they’re younger. I was. But I grew out of it, because I talked to people that have lived under these systems and learn more about how politics really work.
The Internet has caused a lot of arrested development in people. You’ve posted your opinions under your name and formed social groups around those opinions. So you, Hasan, everyone in your online community can’t change your opinions when you’re exposed to new facts because if you did you’d be ostracized by your community. The Hasan community is particularly malicious about this and engage in online harassment campaigns. So not only are people in the Hasan community are worried about losing friendships if they change their opinion on anything, they’re afraid of the community they’re a part of. That’s kinda fashy if you ask me.
