We’re vegetarian and live ~10 blocks from Obon Shokudo, so we’re set for katsu! We definitely lack for top quality sichuan food though, which is a serious problem and not one yall have. Plus i think the only good xi’an place is out your way too.
Fortunately, we’re all allowed to go places and we’re not restricted to our cities, unable to leave! This bodes well for me, cause one of my jobs is near Reed College, and if I can’t get out there, I can’t work.
This side of the Willamette has the best katsudons in the metro area, plus it’s where I bought my house for 2.99%. I’m staying on this side.

So I’ve heard but when i try to drive outside of the comforting grid of eastside streets it does not go well for me. Hills? Curves? No thank you! 😆
