How doesn’t it tow, and what is the cargo capacity? To me trucks are about work. I hate 4 door trucks because to get cargo space compromises either length or need space. I had one before and it was not fun to drive but I used that full length bed. I have need to haul a big trailer as well. If it is the family I’ll drive a car. (Spreading of cars, I want a tiny car as they are so much more fun to drive)
Based on the tone of their reveal, I’m not having high hopes for towing. Which would be a shame as I was hoping for a 4,000 pound towing capacity. Clearly targeted at city drivers that aren’t doing a lot of real truck stuff.
Their emphasis on surfboard in the bed tells me they will at least do midgate for more workable bed… At least in fair weather conditions. That might make it ok at hauling wood from the store for projects.
On the carfront, would love for something like a miata, even with a short range.
Yeah, but my towing is like 95% less than 25 miles. I’ll probably rent a more credible truck if I should ever need to tow more than my vehicles can handle. Or else take the hit and suffer the delay of a commercial charging station or two along the way (and the aggravation of having to unhook and rehook the trailer, but that’s not too bad. Only was ever annoying trying to back up to a trailer that you can’t move the toung by hand and we didn’t have cameras.

Downside to towing with an EV is a trailer absolutely kills the range.
