There is a surprising number of gems in F-Droid. Simon Taltham’s Puzzles is excellent, as is Breakout 71. Shattered Pixel Dungeon is fun too, and of course I live emulating games with Retroarch. Lichess is neat and has a lovely Android client if you play chess.
Any other good games on F-Droid?
You’re the best. thank you.
Thanks for the links
Unciv -remake of civ 5
Neat! It’s also available on Linux as well :D
Shattered Pixel Dungeon
Russian roulette but instead of pulling the trigger on a revolver, I install apps at random and see if my phone gets assimilated into a Muscovite cryptominer botnet.
- Install Termux
- Run this harmless Russian roulette bash script
- Repeat step 2 for infinite fun

Never seen cyrillic english before. Hauc.
We’re talking about F-Droid, not the Play Store.
Breakout 71
It really is very fun, and I like that it auto-pauses when you let go of the paddle

Idle Fantasy. An offline idle game. To have quicker updates you can add their repo.
LOVE this game. perfect amount of time needed to play without getting lost in it. Dev updates and improves regularly. adds features and content all the time.
This game was too much for my simple mind when I tried it. Maybe I should give it another shot.
Ooh, this looks really neat!
I haven’t finished it, but I thought Xeonjia: Ice Adventures was pretty good. It’s a combination of sokoban and adventure games where you navigate the world by solving block puzzles.
Is it any better than the original (the graphics are horrendous and the tutorial not very good)?
There are many 2048 clones out there, but this is the best I have found on F-Droid

Endless Sky is a fun lil classic space game.
Vector Pinball is a simple way to pass some time if you enjoy pinball.

A bit little risk and settlers of catan combined
Ah, I love that dev’s work. Always with the original stuff.
Anyway, I recognise that game as an old classic. I wouldn’t really say “Catan” because the regions don’t have specific resources, but yeah, kinda like Risk with special units. There’s also a deep campaign version of it online:
