AWS has at least two entire regions that are airgapped, exist within US military bases, are mostly airgapped, and require anyone working in or with them to have TS/SCI security clearances, to the point where AWS will facilitate (and award salary bumps for) employees getting those clearances.
Yes, but they’re not evenly distributed across regions. You could take out every non-US and non-EU AWS region, and most of the top-500 traffic AWS sites would still be up.
