Since the debacle that is AdmiralPatrick is just getting sad at this point, i choose to believe it was for saying “Stamets was right”

    There’s a cycle to it and you can usually identify it across the usage of a single term: “tankie”. 3+ year pattern.

    People obsessed with owning the tankies crash out and make fools of themselves, new people who hate tankies take up the banner to salvage the cause.

    Tesseract dev = Poor attempt to own tankies, moment of unity across fediverse.

    Now we will have a week or two of backlash. The 196 stuff seems to fit into that because the basis is ‘tankie’. But that’s community level stuff so whatever.
