If Bab Al Mandeb is also bombed, what are the implications for the global energy market?
The real energy market or the fake one?
The volatility of prices would go up, but the empire and vassals will likely continue dumping their reserves in the market to keep the prices low or to profit from manipulated changes. Meanwhile, many countries are likely to go to Russia, China and other producers for for any stable deals the can get, likely in currencies other that dollar, which could keep prices from rising too much as the western bourgeoisie wouldn’t see this demand and thus the known prices wouldn’t fluctuate as much as if everyone dependend on the dollar still. Things like that can have the counter effect of prolonging how long the empire can keep selling its reseves but when they can’t anymore any country with a bit of sovereignty should be a lot safer from the volatility meaning less damage on the Global South and more in the empire and their vassals.
At least that’s my very basic view on things.
