You people are way too quick to assume police are violent for no reason, just because they’re police. Maybe they were just big fans of the jazz or suns, and being cops was just incidental.
Cops aren’t allowed to he smart, and idiots can get pretty heated about their local sports teams. Are cops not allowed to support the teams of cities they live in? This may be a case of dumb sports hooligan violence that happened to come from a cop, not police shooting a dog for no reason
Well, cops basically never leave their cars, and its not as if they can just stay parked, so its not like they don’t face real danger and real images of dismembered bodies and twisted metal in their jobs. I’m sure they have need of emergency services at least as often as that sixteen year old at McDonalds.
”A celebration of the New York Knicks’ NBA championship turned tragic on Saturday in Canoga Park when Los Angeles police officers responding to a call about a screaming woman shot and killed the family dog, authorities and witnesses said.”
First sentence of the article that you didn’t read before deep-throating the boot would tell you the whole story, the what, when, where, why, and how. One click, one sentence, a second or two to read.
Look, LAPD officers can still be fans of the basketball teams from the city in which they live? Are we saying they cant? The Utah jazz and phoenix suns are lovely teams. Its fine if they can’t, but as far as I’m aware; they are allowed.
And sports fans can get extremely violent after a rival team wins a game. It happens, and its a risk/cost we just accept as a society. The dog was wearing a Knicks jersey. Maybe if they didn’t want their dog shot, they shouldn’t have dressed her like that.
So it’s possible this wasn’t police violence, but non-police violence coming from a source that happened to ALSO be police.

If your kneejerk reaction is to shoot something, you should not have a gun.
A sixteen year old toilet cleaner at mcdonalds has seen worse shit than your average cop, and has better deescalation skills

“Cops don’t do anything bad because they sit in their cars” is the most idiotic thing I’ve seen in months
I’m just saying cops probably have a disproportionate need for emergency services compared to the example; a 16 year old who cleans bathrooms.
Driving is really dangerous, guys.
No argument on the de-escalation skills.
you haven’t seen what people do to the toilets in mcdonalds
That’s why they necessarily have deescalation skills.

I don’t understand how I’m being disproven here. Nothing in that contradicts my conjecture.
I don’t understand how you could read the article and then think your comment was relevant
