Absolutely, it is even sadder if they truly believed they were fighting for anything meaningful.
War is awful, North Korea should stop supporting russia, the aggressor in this war, so their soldiers aren’t thrown into the maw for less than nothing, what could be more cynical than condemning the people who desire to protect their country to meaningless deaths?
As someone from the US I can appreciate the multidimensional crime going on here, my countries past and present is littered with the same story.
