Supporters of Palestine have called to boycott the payment platform Stripe after its CEO and co-founder Patrick Collison - an Irish-American billionaire who has advocated for Palestinians in the past - posted on social media on Wednesday about his run on the beach in Tel Aviv and how it was “great” to be back.

Many responded to his post on X by pointing out that he was only thirty minutes away from the Gaza Strip. Conservative estimates say nearly 44,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s war on Gaza and two million have been under constant Israeli aggression as they fight what UN experts have called “'deliberate starvation”.

Some drew comparisons to the Academy Award-winning film, Zone of Interest, which depicts the everyday lives of Germans who lived next to the Auschwitz concentration camp during World War Two.

What a sad little person you are that you have to virtue signal everything just to feel loved.

I am trying to have a conversation about how we maybe should stop trying to destroy people because of small mistakes and you want to boycott me.

Thanks for being a perfect example of how small and pathetic you people are

      Scratch a liberal lmao

If doing PR work for a fucking genocidal state is just cAnCeL cUltUrE gOnE mAd then you have no fucking red line.

If you’re only against a genocide as long as it doesn’t cost you money or effort, then you’re not against genocide. You’re the one virtue signaling up and down this comment section. This “free speech crusader” shit is old hat and nobody buys it.

Visiting a beach is PR work for genocide?

Do you hear the words that come out of your mouth, or in this case, fingers?

Seriously, read what you just wrote. The guy visited a fucking beach, that’s it!

Serious question: if you could, would you kill this guy? Would you end his life over this? I’m seriously trying to understand how far you’re willing to take this insanity

Again, you are the reason we have to deal with trump now. You and extremists like you caused all this shit. I’d rather deal with a dumb Maga asshole than with the likes of you as magas at least know what they’re pushing. You don’t even see that part.

The reason y’all have to to deal with trump is because oblivious people like you are okay with fascism as long as it’s a democrat doing it, and now it’s become a part of the tapestry. Pardon me if I don’t give a shit if Americans get what y’all been exporting for over a century.

Trump didn’t even need to pass new laws to enact a “fascist dictatorship” according to democrats, which begs the question: why the fuck were those laws there in the first place? America been fascist for a while, it just goes on power saver mode every so often.

The reason why we have to deal with trump now is because people like you are so casually easily saying shit like “you are okay with fascism.” You ARE the problem.

Any idea how many people went to right wing web sites, podcasts, blogs, forums, etc just to escape the PC police who will label anything not fully agreeing with the opinion du jour “fascism”?

When you make it impossible to have a normal conversation without immediately jumping to Hitler & co, people will go somewhere else where they can speak without immediately being banned. They all went to just mildly more right forums, where they were welcomed with open arms, and where their “I don’t agree with this specific left opinion” quickly changed into “fuck everything about the left”

What is even sadder is that, if you even read this (most people on the left won’t read anything they can’t 100% agree with) you will immediately go “that is aan fascist lie!” You will take exactly 0 seconds to reflect on your own complicity in trump coming to power because it’s so much easier to just. Blame. The .guy. who. Disagreed.

And just to clarify, fuck fascism. I don’t want any of it. I don’t want genocides neither, doooh, but we live in the real world where things never are that easy. I would have voted Biden a thousand times. Not because he was the best choice but because he wasn’t trump. As soon as the trump risk had faded you could have protested out of the wazoo, paralyze the country until the genocide stops, whatever you want. But until then you had one job: keeping trump out, convince everyone to vote biden to keep trumpo out, and you failed.

You released the devil just because Jesus wasn’t perfect for you.

Thoughtnthe Palestine genocide was bad? Wait for the next 4 years, buddy.
