A significant many conservatives love Ai cause it’ll replace immigrants but a lot of us see the writing on the wall the tech is overhyped garbage that’ll crash soon in the next few years and cause the economy to go down with it, however, let’s say that Ai and robotics manage to reach a level of automation where they’re able to replace human workers, obviously this would have negative implications for people that want to migrate but it would also hurt the countries citizens since they will and probably are, going to be forced out of the earning a wage, leaving entire portions of society jobless I don’t know which scenario is worse a recession unlike anything we’ve seen or a society where most people are jobless either way conservatives are dooming their country and people just to “own” brown people it’s almost comedic

I genuinely think the pursuit of total automation by the capitalist class will be the final straw for workers in the West. We’ve been deprived of everything but our livelihoods at this point; take that away and what left do we have to lose? I don’t believe UBI will be enough to stop the inevitable from happening, either.

This is not going to work out for the bougies as much as they may believe otherwise.

Total automation would be a sure path to a proletarian revolution in the imperial core.

Maybe that is why usa is pushing for a wars that it can’t win without masive human cost? The bougies want to do to usa what was done to ukraine, complete demographic collapse, but they want to have robots to fill the gap.

That would make sense but I don’t think robotics and AI are advanced enough to completely replace human labor just yet. Give a decade or two and that might change but right now I think they’re just trying to destabilize yet another successful socialist project and steal its resources. I don’t believe the conspiracy goes any deeper than that.

You and I know that but the failsons throwing the family fortune at AI tech bros don’t. “AGI is like 3 months away if you give me another brillion bro I swear. You’ll have yer sexbot by next christmas dude, I just need another cash injection.”

Have you heard of a manga called “Blame!”?

There’s a city the size of a giant planet that is constantly expanding in layers built by robots called Builders. An AI called the Safeguard has devolved into killing all humans because they don’t have the right access privileges. This leads to a huge amount of empty architecture with no one about.

      We’ll get there someday.
