it’s something going on with itjust.works I think, because before it showed your post of 3 hours, and then two 7 month old posts replying to it.
Now it doesn’t even show my comment chain even exists at all. but if I jump instances it shows it in the proper order.
Isn’t technology great.
edit: actually, its a thing with the tesseract UI now it seems. No idea, likely an instance blacklist but it defaults to a safe mode, and this entire chain doesn’t appear unless toxic mode is enabled. I wish it made it a little more clear why it was filtering what it was though.
it’s funny when they choose $100 shipping on an object that actually does cost $50 to ship, but are $80 cheaper than any other option and have the audacity to complain when I want it shipped to me in Alaska.
Maybe, or maybe it’s to curb the law that force a refund in certain cases. You want a refund? It’s 64$.
They do that with shipping items on ebay all the time. cheap item price 100+ shipping
The shipping payement also has less fees if i recall correctly so it’s also a method to evade some
I’m confused how I just got a notice of this reply, and how it says “3 hours ago” but the comments replying to your comments are “7 months ago”
Because i replied 4 hours ago not 7 months ago

Yeah. Anyone using eBay long enough knows to prioritize listings with free shipping over others.
The same is true with all any other services, the more they break it out the more likely you’ll be scammed.
It’s not for the consumer’s benefit. They are structuring the transaction to give themselves levers to pull.
