I pay 50% marginal rate in taxes, so I’m glad the government is using my money to promote a party I didn’t vote for.
This is totally standard bullshit by the way. The OLP gov’t did the same before them. So did the federal gov’t of Harper. It’s in the interest of every party to advertise itself using public money while in gov’t.

I mean I don’t think we should get more mad because he’s doing more of it. It’s all bad and we should be big mad about the practice in principle cause it’s fucking terrible corruption. I may have given a pass to the OLP in the past when they did it since they weren’t so bad. I shouldn’t have.
Well that’s fair. What did the OLP do? I remember seeing a bunch of blue and IIRC even branded road signs (eg describing the road project) go up right after the election, they weren’t replacing partisan signs.
I don’t recall exactly but there was a scandal about it.
E: As I just wrote that I felt this word so quaint - a scandal. Would be nice if we could go back to scandals. Like the gas plants scandal that took down a government. 🥹
