Could be many reasons. I can think of two.

1. Some prefer older women.

2. The reality for men is that you approach a dozen or two women and you still don’t know what time of day it is.

From an outside perspective republicans seems like a bunch of one issue voters (pro gun, anti abortion, etc) coming together and voting against the democrats.

Depends on the software. I’d not trust a vpn that was made in an authoritarian state. I’ll play a game made in one.

As for the developer if they are more famous for their political views than the software I’d probably not install it.

If you argue that others should not own investment property for whatever reason but you are a valid exception it’s one thing.

If you say that “look at how much money I’m making, tax me harder daddy” it’s another.

Short answer: hard to start a new company that can compete. Over the decades all the other companies have done poorly and gone bankrupt or been bought out.
