  • Fascism is Imperialism turned inwards.

    Fascism is capitalism in decline.

Both of these quotes get attributed to Lenin but I think only the second is.

They are essentially equivalent though. Imperialism is a requirement of capitalism and the methods capitalist use to oppress the third world get turned inward on the imperial core. You will see ICE use the same methods the IDF has used in the west bank and Gaza. These were training grounds for Fascist oppression and specifically in methods of crowd control.

  • I hope I’m wrong. But the history of the Democratic party tells me they will either half ass it or completely fail at it.

At this point I see them as a party that pretends to be resisting than actually resisting. They are either purposely distracting or completely incompetent.

I really really hope I’m wrong. We need actual legislation and not just tweets. So I’ll continue to give them the trust they deserve until they prove otherwise. I am rooting for them though. I really am.

  • The “social credit score” in China was blown out of proportion too. It probably changed since I last looked into it. But when that shit was all over American media it was literally the equivalent of a background check or credit score in the US. Work history, loan and credit history, etc.

Like, it’s funny how we can have essentially the same exact thing but only critize China’s version of it. Make it scary by adding “social” to the name. People ate that shit up.

Edit: to be clear I think both should be critized. Especially related to criminal history bias on race. But we spend more time talking about the Chinese version that doesn’t actually effect anyone’s lives in the US.

I just finished explaining this too lol. It won’t work for people that have a ton of different shoes they choose. Or people that wear shoes in the house (gross). But if you’re a primarily single pair shoe person that always puts shoes on as the last thing before leaving. It is THE BEST way to not forget the thing you need. Basically reduces the chance I pick it up and put it down (and forget it) down to 0.

Putting things in my shoes is my go to. I don’t wear shoes in the house so it’s always the last thing I do before going out the door. If I put the thing on the door handle I’ll just not see it. I can physically open my door without having to grab something handing from it. If they are physically in my shoes I have to actually grab the thing as the very last thing I do. So it reduces the chance I’ll set it down and forget it.

I also only ever wear one pair of shoes unless I’m going to the gym or something. So no real worry of choosing the wrong shoes.

  • It’s not. Because despite the Nazis returning to Twitter after Elon bought it it is still the website used by journalist and political commentators to get their message to the most eyes. Should it be? No. But that doesn’t make it any less true.

You post on Truth social if you’re a MAGA nut. Twitter is still filled with the most people to reach out to and will be for the foreseeable future.

It’s the very reason a platform like that should not be privately owned. Hoping “the market” somehow removes its monopoly on user capture and scale is silly. And blaming people that still use it to reach the most people is even more silly. You meet the people where they are at.

You don’t put your poster in a clean hotel most people won’t see. You post it the dirty public square. That public square is owned by a Nazi capitalist though. So pointing that out and complaining about it is more than reasonable.
