Hi there! Welcome to software freedom. I started a local Linux User Group to help folks just like you. We’ve done one install fest already and have helped a few folks in learning about GNU/Linux. Feel free to hit me up with any questions as there’s usually a lot of discussion to get to what the right decisions for you might be. Congratulations on making the best computing decision ever!

Scrapple is parts. Sliced thin, fried up crispy, served with maple syrup. Mm mm mm. It’s still parts though.

Bespoke Synth is pretty cool.

I’m in the US, so I don’t have first hand knowledge, but the song “Black Boys on Mopeds” by Sinéad O’Connor is explicit enough evidence to tell me it does.
There’s also FediDB if you’d like to help keep that up to date.

Wow, an org mode rest client; this might be worth switching to! What I like about these is that you end up with documentation in a standard file that can live along with your APIs. Org mode can of course be saved either as org files, or exported as any number of things - whatever your team uses. Ok, time to go bully some vim users.

This isn’t wrong, and it’s funny because it’s true!

All of that when I can just keep using emacs’ restclient.

How does it compare to “Windy City Heat”?
It’s a lot like Ruby syntactically and visually but it’s super easy to learn and start doing useful stuff in quickly. The combination of functional and declarative programming make for a very nice developer experience.
Scratch your own balls, weirdo!

OpenShot is great, especially paired with Inkscape and Blender. It’s simple and elegant and an old like me can be productive with minimal training.
There’s also Kdenlive, for your super fully featured needs.

Did you see the video interview with the trans-woman who saved him?
I’m doing this as we speak. I’m using Gnu’s Open Meet as the platform: Conifer FLOSSTech & LUG
I didn’t know if this is cheating since it’s all the same dish, but biscuits (flour, milk, fat) and gravy (flour, milk, fat) are two different foods with the same ingredients.
Also, your bones are wet.
