I don’t think the moon landing was faked, but I’d maybe make sure this one makes it before gloating. This NASA isn’t the same one that landed there last time.
Me too, which is why I hate this fucking holiday.

131·9 days agoIt would help if anyone just posting obvious lies like they’re jokes had a sense of humor instead, yes. “Just a prank, bro!” as a holiday sucks.
Hilarious what’s become of everyone’s favorite example of a “good billionaire”.
Further proof that this is the shittiest holiday only celebrated by the most insufferable.

11·9 days agoThat’s not enabled by default afaik and it burns through way more tokens looping its output through several times. It also adds a bunch more context which will bring you that much closer to context collapse.

Hope you like cringey self insert fantasy erotica where a virgin fucks a fae sex goddess so well he fully comprehends her entire existence then metaphysically dominates her.
If you want good fantasy read the First Law series or hell even The Wandering Inn. I don’t even like Sanderson but whatever he’s shoveling out has got to be better than Kingkiller.

16·11 days agoAre you actively ignoring the similarities between these instances or do you genuinely not understand that they’re both examples of strange and excessive moderation?
People should be accommodated by their workplace for their unique circumstances, even if others in that workplace don’t share those circumstances. This should not come at the expense of their coworkers. Accommodation can be fair without being strictly equal, but care needs to be taken or resentment will occur.
A lot of this could be solved if the standard business strategy about staffing wasn’t “cut payroll to the bone then hire back when things start to break down to maintain the absolute bare minimum at all times”

4·14 days agoYeah, the algorithms also form a similar feedback loop with their trades. Then you have people and competing algorithms predicting what those algorithms will do and trading based off that and the result is an entirely vibes based economy.

World News@lemmy.world•Live updates: Trump delays Strait of Hormuz deadline as Wall Street has biggest loss of warEnglish
8·14 days agoMuch of the trading on Wall Street isn’t done by humans, and what remains of human trades are increasingly influenced by automatic tools. These tools and algorithms aren’t aware of context; they base their trades on moment to moment vibes, basically. They tap various news sources, social media posts, etc for signals that indicate a market direction.

Is this the remake or are you emulating the original? If it’s the latter your problem may be tied to FPS. Try capping it at 30 and see what happens.

8312·16 days agoAn init system does not need to know my personal details; it’s for starting programs in a specific order just fuck off with this shit. You don’t even have to capitulate to this stuff and these freaks are out here doing it preemptively like they expect a fucking pat on the head for being first in line to dive tongue first on to that boot.

I would wager quite a lot that less than one out of every ten executives could properly explain what an SQL injection is, or even know the term at all. They would not write a prompt like this.
