I am a Muslim, so Islam.
I’m using a fairly modern 4060 rtx, every game I’m trying to play are either playable, or unplayable because of anticheats. If youre primarily using steam, more often than not you can just enable proton (compatibility) and run it. Just search protondb before purchasing and go to lutris if you want to know recipes to run offline games.
I always imagine linux as a little hidden door to a speakeasy, but turns out to be narnia.
Shameless plug, but if you want something offline, with rich text, tagging, trees, quick search, small, and encrypted…
You can use treedome! https://codeberg.org/solver-orgz/treedome/releases/tag/0.5.4
tengkuizdihar@programming.devto Open Source@lemmy.ml•VoxeLibre 0.88 – Back on Track is finally live!3·4 months agoMy biggest gripe with minetest is the lack of support for large worlds. Honestly most of the times I won’t even touch the border, but there’s always a feeling of “end” when I’m playing minetest (or its forks/mods). As if playing it isn’t worth it.
I think the problem with our world is not the lack of children, but the lack of good parents.

tengkuizdihar@programming.devOPto Open Source@lemmy.ml•Treedome 0.5.4: Local Encrypted Notes with Modern Features0·4 months agoI did, but every time I made one, it lacked “soul”. So if I want to do some aabstract stuff, I’d rather use inkscape myself instead.
tengkuizdihar@programming.devOPto Open Source@lemmy.ml•Treedome 0.5.4: Local Encrypted Notes with Modern Features0·4 months agoIt is an option, but for now, I want to prioritise Debian based OS first, as many people uses it.
tengkuizdihar@programming.devOPto Open Source@lemmy.ml•Treedome 0.5.4: Local Encrypted Notes with Modern Features0·4 months agoFor now the links is still on the horizon, I think its doable though, even with encryption. Tauri have been a good friend in the development phase, it does what it do fine. Sometimes I need to get my head around a performance spike though, just found out linux tauri (gtkwebkit i think) doesnt play well with shadows css. It slows the damn thing.
The docs are very thorough, for my usecase anyway.

tengkuizdihar@programming.devto Fediverse@lemmy.world•Let's clarify something: does Bluesky allow federated servers on their network? Is there a list of those independent servers?English01·8 months agoSo its activitypub, but worse because its designed from the ground up to be difficult to federate? Bro just use twitter at this point.
I still dont get why people use bluesky. I mean if you really want a pseudo federated social media, might as well use twitter and not migrate. Its ridiculous.
