TikTok has always been far less conservative than Shorts, or Facebook’s Reels, Facebook usually algorithmically suppresses leftist content and boost right wing content. as right wing content gets more views, and usually rabbit holes are more profitable than the truth. I again won’t say TikTok is perfect, and it is just as bad in terms of data privacy.
