I agree, I love Wikipedia! If they’re ever actually in need of money and not just trying to grow for growth’s sake I’ll pitch in.
I’ll just leave this right here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Guy_Macon/Wikipedia_has_Cancer
I used to donate but have since switched to other more needing causes.

It’s nuts you’re getting down voted for this statement. Christianity actually teaches it’s followers to not be traitors or liars. But I guess we ARE on Lemmy, haha.

Yeah you’re probably right. Bad move on his part if he wanted to avoid this.

With a net worth of 150 million dollars, maybe he could go make his own ice cream store and campaign from that platform? And then not sell out to a giant megacorp and act surprised then they do mega corpo stuff.

You can say Christian, it’s ok the word won’t hurt you

I really like this one from Ico titled Castle in The Mist: https://youtu.be/q9xroa4cMLM

He has some amazing work, IIRC he did Guild Wars as well

Mindful Solutionism is probably my favorite track from Aesop even after black hole superette came out, such a banger

Fascinating, just read up on the topic. I never knew! No wonder their flag looks so similar.
Here’s a source for anyone interested. I just tested my well water where I’m at and it’s 10x over the legal EPA limit :( . Might be testing my blood next and heading to the plasma donation center!
Another good piece of evidence I just thought of is the oldest known depiction of Jesus: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexamenos_graffito
It seems the claim might originate with Jehovah’s Witnesses in modern times.
Do you have any sources on the claim that it wasn’t a cross and was changed later for pagans? The scripture references “coming down” from the cross which to me would imply the one we typically think of.
Also from https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impalement,
"I see crosses there, not just of one kind but made differently by different [fabricators]; some individuals suspended their victims with heads inverted toward the ground; some drove a stake (stipes) through their excretory organs/genitals; others stretched out their [victims’] arms on a patibulum [cross bar]; I see racks, I see lashes … "
Sounds like Seneca, a figure from exactly this time period confirms the type of cross we think of.
This is an excellent list, Planetes is one I keep coming back to, I always have about it too anyone who will listen!
I’ll have to check out some of these others I haven’t seen.
Another good one is Monster, but it does have problematic relationships

Watching the atmospheres of Earth and Mars try to reach equilibrium right when the portal opened up would be pretty interesting!

I think it definitely affects the taste though doesn’t it? I prefer the organic ones that are vat pasteurized due to that reason, ultra feels sweeter to me.
Out of curiosity what foods had the dyes in them that you had to cut? I imagine it’s in some things you’d never think of
That’s really sad to hear. I also switched to Chronometer but live in the US so didn’t run into that issue. Have you found a counter that supports Japanese as well as English?
It’s the intent that matters here, not all public displays of faith go against the teachings of Jesus. But yeah, someone doing it just to draw attention is wrong.
