I’m also in team gold and white. Just like you, my brain perceived the source of light is from the back and part of the dress that I saw is shaded.

What helped me see the dress as black and blue is trying to imagine a zoomed out image of this photo where the dress in uncropped, then force myself to believe that it is a brightly lit clothing shop. Also I tried to see the background as a mirror that reflect the light, so my brain can finally process that the lighting is not exclusively from behind the dress.

IIRC, heart attack is the “default” way if the cause of death is not specified, so supposedly I can write that Jane Doe dies peacefully in her sleep.

It’s big, it provides plenty of shades, it’s unassuming, and most importantly it has mangoes!!

My problem with some seinen animes are how edgy and how much they try hard with all the “adult” scenes. The older I get, the more I think that gratuitous sexual or gore scenes are more interesting to teenagers, or maybe that’s just me being overexposed to that kind of content too early.

Of course like anything else, there are good and bad , regardless of its demographic groups. I have all-time-favorites from all demographic groups (shoujo, shonen, josei, seinen) that are close to my heart. Vice versa, all of them have their fair share of meh stuff.

Something cool that happened to me this year? I would say meeting my LDR partner after not seeing him for almost a full year!!! The best thing is, the LDR part was so painless because I just fully trust him and his commitment to the relationship.
