  • It sounds really bad to me. The implication behind efficiency is that if it’s inefficient then it can be stopped. It’s a question of control / funding. (Auditing for efficiency is already a thing in societies, DOGE is not that.)

It’s like a government within a government. A super institution that sits above the others and decides budgets and policy.

This super institution would need expertise in all things related to self governance. When this super institution audits education how will it know what is efficient unless it has that domain specific knowledge? And then economics, and then engineering, and then social planning, and so on.

I think governmental efficiency stems from a society that values efficiency. Creating a super institution to rule them all is something else.

New games look like realistic pencil drawings that were smudged to shit.

I literally have Elden Ring screenshots on my PS4 that look worse than Super Mario 64 screenshots.

It’s like modern games all have a screen shader at the end specifically to fuck up the graphics and blur details. I know it’s TAA and friends but damn. It feels weird that so many games have broken graphics that only look good when taking promotional screenshots. And people call them good looking games lol

  • I think they’re like mold or cancer cells, or even a fire. You can’t decide to be a billionaire just like a plant species can’t decide to grow in crack in the pavement. It’s a system of interactions that decides that. Pure chance and a lot of failures that had as much right to succeed as any other.

Billionaires are byproducts of our system weaved into a physical human body. It has a human life to confuse you and camouflage what it really is. It has a human brain and human emotions to generate reasons why it deserves to exist. It looks and feels like a person.

Reminds me of mandrakes from Harry Potter. They scream like they’re alive but they’re just there to be harvested.

Like I said I was starting on “step 2” where you start with internal + external analyses = a result. A system is what is written and what is lived, I just assume it’s where we start in politics / economics / whatever. What is prescribed is a simple data point. That’s why I looked at the statements “Cuba is X, for proof here’s the governments website” as absurd. I didn’t realize people were speaking about hypotheticals, and reacted at the idea that someone would use that kind of logic to explain how something functions in reality.

I think I’m mixing up your statement of a basic datum, the way Cuba is written to be, with the idea that it’s indicative of what you’ll likely find. Hence, I was skeptical of the utility of using the written system as meaningful to the statement that Cuba was democratic. Like if people are going to talk about that, I assume it’s not a technicality they are referring to, they are talking about real people living in a real country… so what good is the official parties word on how things are operating?

Also didn’t even realize you were the same person from the other thread, didn’t mean to show up here and bother you.
