Dutch, Robbie Williams, ezpz

Or a short series, the story is very episodic.

The original plan was to make two Hobbit movies, but after the release of the first one they decided to expand it to three. I think two movies would have been alright, although the whole thing was way too intense and violent and digital.
Probably having someone do the motion of shaking some salt on their tongue. Go try it out in front of a mirror and you’ll see.

There’s a new one coming this weekend!

The Secret of Monkey Island and its sequels. I haven’t played the originals, but the remasters felt very much like old school adventures.

Good points!
Also, don’t worry too much about the writing itself, about whether it’s good in a technical sense. There are plenty of successful authors who aren’t great writers, but they are great storytellers, and that’s the most important part.

That is basically how I wrote my bachelor’s thesis right before the deadline: just sit down and write write write, then start the next day by editing the text from the previous day and again write write write. You do need to have an inkling of what you want to say, but otherwise it’s a great way to keep going.
Edit: also, there are plenty of famous fiction writers who don’t draft a book, but just start with an idea and see where it takes them. Obviously, this doesn’t work for everyone or every book, but it’s a valid way of working.

Cool, thanks!
Do you know if there’s crossplay between the official client and etlegacy?

You can still buy ET on Steam. I remember playing it a while ago. There wasn’t as much activity as twenty years ago, but it was still fun. The graphics are dated, but the gameplay is unbeatable.

Fixed a bug that could cause suspend and resume to fail on systems with runtime D3 (RTD3) power management enabled.
I hope this fixes the problem on my laptop! Gonna try it later.

They’ve been talking a lot about fixing the UI lately. Sounds like they finally hired a proper developer to do it, after years of having some intern work on it.
Thanks for all the interesting details!
