Have a source within arms reach 24/7 and drink as much as you can everytime you think about it. That’s it. It’s one of the many annoying maintenance items of life, just get used to it like brushing your teeth. Eventually you’ll hate how you feel when you don’t do it, and this outweighs the annoyance.

362·4 days agoRobot vacuum. My floors are spotless except for some areas you’d never walk on and I only need to do some spot cleaning every month or two.
Dishwashers are awesome too, watch Technology Connections’ video on YouTube if you think your dishwasher doesn’t do a good job. It’s likely just how you’re using it. Priming the hot water before running, using powder detergent instead of liquid or packs (booo), and using the pre-wash and rinse aid will have even the gnarliest dishes coming out spotless.
Been using Voyager since it was called Wefwef for both mobile and desktop Lemmy, love it.

100% I agree with taking substance use seriously. It’s like using a firearm, you gotta treat that shit with respect.
Good thing “slippery slope” is literally a logical fallacy.
Many of these are two distinct syllables, so even if you get a broken transmission, it’s still intelligible.
Counterpoint: isle starts with the expected I sound so it’s 50/50 odds of getting I correct with aisle/isle. E being Eye and I being Ian (Ee-an) is actually more disruptive.
That’s “tsunami fower,” private.
Thanks, I appreciate your replies.
Well said. Still; can you not have authoritarian left and libertarian left viewpoints? I just don’t see how questioning the power capitalist businesses have is limited to the libertarian left.
What’s wrong with the definition of left & right on the political compass? I’m not super tuned into political science but this is the first I’ve heard that many leftists have take issue with it. I have seen the authoritarian left referred to as “red fascists”, but do they not also take issue with the power capitalist businesses have?
I suppose I’d consider myself a left libertarian. The power of the state should be limited and what power is granted to the state should be used to improve the life of the people.
Authoritarian / libertarian is on a completely different axis from left / right, no?

Eventually you’ll click it enough to generate every written work ever produced. It will even produce a perfect narrative of your entire life, including the private moments nobody else could possibly know.

Games@lemmy.world•Starfield PS5 players demand refunds, reporting widespread bugs and glitches that leave the game "unplayable"English
21·8 days agoNo I’m saying the guns should feel different, have some heft and weight to them. Use the revolver in half life 2 for an example of a gun with weight behind the shots.
You’re free to enjoy whatever you like, I’m not saying you shouldn’t. I just think it’s odd for the OP of this comment thread to say “it’s got good gunplay, it’s a Bethesda game” because the general opinion was that Bethesda games were lacking in this very area until Starfield. Bethesda themselves realized they needed to improve the gunplay from the Fallout games, they brought people over from Doom for this specific reason.
Aw man, I loved Exodus.

63·9 days agoThis is one of the most common criticisms of the Bethesda Fallout games, so I didn’t think I had to qualify my opinion. I am far from the first person to make this claim. Even Bethesda realized the gunplay was lacking in their Fallout games, which is why they hired people from Doom to work on Starfield.
The guns have little feeling of impact or weight, they lack good animations, and there is little variety in the types of recoil or spread. Most of the time you just end up spraying at the enemy, and it takes too many rounds. The guns feel more like squirt guns than real guns.
