what would an army CFO even do? shouldn’t it have a congressional budget, and run itself out of that? Although the army is presumably generating profit via piracy, we all know that’s going directly to the president

4·4 days agoleaving aside the answers other people have given, if NYC can afford a world class private military with a ~$10B USD budget, they can afford to cover a minor deficit in food budget. It’s like food stamps but cuts out a layer of bureaucracy and thus lower cost.
This is what taxes should actually be funding.
Is this not just what everyone everywhere does? presumably just in the local language, like “ni hao”
