Forensic acquisition tools like Cellebrite take hours to clone storage. Not saying they wouldn’t do it, just saying that legitimate acquisition that can be used against you has to be collected in a very certain way for it to be proof.

You can’t really expect to have any privacy if you’re using any online service anymore, so I just stopped trying. Blasting a Samsung phone with all the features enabled and not thinking of going back really.

Having lived through a few coup detats, I don’t think the decline just started. People have been saying we’re doomed since early A.D.s. There are way too many ideological ways to live life. To each their own, but in the end our own intrinsic values necessitate valuation of things and power. TL;DR: this is happening everywhere, all at once.
