Not at all. I love Organic Maps/Comaps and I think in many aspects including usability (GM is trash to navigate and drains batteries like hell), it’s much better than GM. However, when I want to reach a place I either find the address online, or search on google maps and then navigate to it with a better, lighter, offline, more beautiful app.
I’m just saying that open source maps usually are heavily lacking on the search functionality, and that’s sad but understandable.
I don’t know much about the topic, but I guess even if that’s the case, it’s likely most open source projects just don’t have contributors knowledgeable or willing to invest the time

Community data like OpenSteeetMap rely on voluntary submissions, so the data can be either obsessive-level complete or non-existent. Especially businesses don’t put themselves on OSM so their location/name/info are somewhat old or just don’t exist
Search algorithms are incredibly complex to make it work well, Google (the king lf search engines) has likely hundreds of people working on an algorithm, Apple the same way
Offline search is also very taxing even if tue app implemented such algorithms, google maps searches with their billion dollars servers
I think Skibidi Toilet is way healthier than mainstream comedic tropes like “fat guy funny” or “gay guy effemminate” that were soooo common in mainstream TV and now are (luckily) fading out.
Brainrot is equally stupid but more self-concious and more honest.

However, Ai-slop brainrot (brainslop? Sloprot?), that feels worse. With the amount of work they are putting in compatibility layers technology, I wouldn’t be surprised if you could run The Witcher 3 on it out of the box.

As for the cold war, if you consider the conflict USA-USSR they clearly won: Russia was, at least at some point, equally powerful to the USA technologically and militarly, what one did first, the other caught up pretty quickly, then the Soviet Government collapsed for various reasons, and they couldn’t catch up, now the USA is arguably the most technologically advanced country in the world, in many aspects.
China is catching up, but they are in no way equally capable.
Have been to Los Angeles for a short time with friends and of course we tried several fast foods. We decided to go to Hooters just for fun, but the food was surprisingly the most decent of those we tried, and also reasonably priced. Of course we could see a lot of creepy around us and it was a little unconfortable seeing some clearly underage(apparently >18 yo) girls just being there for their boobs.

Everyone feels emotions. Emotional intelligence means being capable of recognizing your own emotions (or other people’s) and not let them rule you, but to let you rule them, so they can help you when necessary and not damage you.
People would be mad, SteamOS and M$ itself are already giving people enough to ditch windows, doing such a thing would make it even worse. It’s just better to try and convince publishers to only focus on Windows

You are right, with 20+ episodes it’s easier to have a common theme while still being episodic enough to have episodes that don’t advance the plot but are either funny or explore some unrelated theme. 10 episodes season work for a serialized series (like discovery), but an episodic 10 episodes series is a hybrid of the two and more difficult to pull throught.
However, I still think they did a good job, the season was fun and enjoyable, and I don’t really care there’s no “big picture plot”. After all, this is not telling the voyage of a ship lost in the galaxy or a multi-year war with a foreign dominion, it’s a character build-up story that will eventually become the original series, it’s a prequel and doesn’t try to be anything else. Surely I enjoyed it more than galaxy-destroying-threat-of-the-year discovery.
Also, even if some more “experimental” episodes may be a little failed, I can surely appreciate the attempt and, even if more boring or over the top, at least they are memorable, si they have value.
The entire episode, while enjoyable, was prettt rushed, if it was split in a two-parts season finale they would probably fit in more explaination scenes, like at least an aknowledgement from Batel and some more explaining/exploration of what she was.
The villain is “evil itself”, I don’t really see a way to not make it one-dimensional, he is literally one thing only.
I think because they try so hard to be edgy (eheh) and different from the others, by constantly trashing known tested paradigms, refusing to fix known problems, all whike trying to invent the “brand new thing” that nobody wants and never reallt works out.
