9·27 days agoHad to get that account back as piefed.zip, piefed.social and lemmy.zip cannot be accessed.
Cool to see other people still able to access the Threadiverse

It’s usually recommended to post to an already established community to avoid single poster burnout, but you do you

3·4 months agonote that it tests deployment of all the newest features, so it can break more readily than a more stable instance
That’s https://crust.piefed.social/ now

13·4 months agoI wouldn’t hold my breath, I’m on the Zulip (https://chat.piefed.social/ ) and Matrix chats and the migration script isn’t really worked on by anyone.
Instances like quokk.au just went nuclear and recreated their instances with Piefed when keeping the domain name.
https://piefed.blahaj.zone/ went the subdomain route.

11·4 months agoYou personally have helped with that a ton, thank you so much for caring and sharing positivity vibes 😽❣️!! You are helping people not want to leave and go back to Reddit (which sounds odd I know, but remember that the tiny niche subs there really are different than the larger ones, and people can be much kinder in them than the more popular subs there, or the more popular communities here).
Sharing this feeling as well, thank you so much @LadyButterfly@piefed.blahaj.zone for all your posts and comments on the platform!

Also, OP, as a general request, could you please consider posting to
- !movies@piefed.social rather than !movies@lemmy.world
- !privacy@programming.dev rather than whatever other privacy community you are using
Those two communities have several active members posting, and are trying to gather enough activity to become sustainable. !movies@lemmy.world was barely active before you started posting it to it, and now provides people with https://lawsofux.com/choice-overload when they want to post about movies.
Feel also free to join !fedigrow@lemmy.zip where we discuss growing communities

You probably are not aware, but that user is known to be toxic. A lot of the mod action reasons are “be respectful” or “civility”

62·5 months agoIt’s not that deep, it’s just people getting banned over downvoting in communities they don’t contribute to. A debate even older than Lemmy
I still also can’t fathom the apparently successful effort to start to split people into “pro AI” and “anti AI” camps.
Yeah, I just don’t get why it’s getting so heated lately https://lemmy.world/post/31072292/17587686

On the other hand, the only Piefed instance that is still up is https://piefed.blahaj.zone/ it seems
