I don’t think it matters, the EU contains a mutual defense pact as well. Even if NATO fails to respond due to Trump being an Epstein related kiddie diddler, EU members have each other’s back. Turkey would be left out in the cold though.

Lots of kids still do that here in the US. We have crossing volunteers at any street crossing near the school to shepherd the kids across.
