So the Armed Forces have some golf courses that their servicemen can enjoy when off duty (and some are even open to civilians) and, surprise surprise, they require some maintenance and upkeep dollars.
I feel like this piece is some manufactured outrage. Let the members of the armed forces have nice places to relax… they should be allowed some reprieve from their role as cogs in the war machine.
Used to be that BMWs were driven by the worst (asshole) drivers on the road. In the past year, my wife (first) and I have noticed that that crown now lies firmly on the head of Tesla drivers… and it’s not even close.
It uses the Nvidia Tegra 239 chip, which is based off the Ampere generation. While potentially it could have some ray tracing features, the power limits of a small chip like this are likely to prevent it from being used.
More interestingly, it should have all the hardware and juice to be able to run DLSS. This means it can upscale from 720p to 4k using Nvidia’s proprietary tech (the best in the business) to have excellent image quality at fast frame rates.
Other than the Nvidia specific tech, it’s just generally a faster processor with more memory. While it won’t be as powerful as a PS5, graphics should look nicer and world size and detail should increase with fewer compromises.
Are you kidding me? I’ve seen this point in Reddit for a decade now. It comes up in r/politics all the time
So they can ensure they’re only parroting the party’s lines when they do resume communications.
Right… and your comment was in reply to someone merely proposing taxes that don’t exist yet either…
What are you talking about? There were a lot more cuts to the Bipartisan funding bill, outside of the proposed debt ceiling increase. Looks like the Republicans still get all the cuts they wanted, just no debt limit increase. This is definitely being celebrated as a win on their side.
Absent were provisions that had infuriated Trump and his right-wing allies, including cost-of-living increases for lawmakers and giving Washington, D.C., control over a stadium site that could be used for the Washington Commanders NFL team. The legislation also excluded health care provisions to overhaul laws around pharmacy benefit managers, or PBMs, that were agreed to in the previous deal.
I think sin taxes are absolutely acceptable if the government is also fully paying for the healthcare of all citizens (which we should totally be doing).
The combination of the two would make America a much healthier place overall.
Then get mad about the cuts to the much needed programs and the corrupt people cutting them. Not at the other expenses they’ve decided not to cut.
