In the apple basic apples they hid data that was normally visible and showed data that was irrelevant to the current function or plain redundant. Having to notifications un readable due to the transportnt was awful UX design.
Overall it comes off as if an intern was told to update the UX and had no per-review when deployed.
I loved my apple ecosystem system and wish I didn’t change but the functions that have been slightly adjusted over 10+ years were turned upside down in one patch.
The complaint is justified as you look around online very few people outside of tech bloggers had anything positive to say about liquid glass.

I might be a minority but the week liquid glass hit my phone I ordered a pixel, sold my iphone. iPad, apple watch, and air tags that weekend.
I don’t know if that compares as one is a ui/function overhaul and the other is a data field for access to things.

I believe Google owns (maybe it’s past tense now) Motorola phone division. The purchase was a power move to Samsung who was trying to push their own store that skirted googles cut.
What is cx and what is PEBKAC?
No IT should trust devs to have full admin rights. Y’all know enough to fuck everything up and then blame IT for not knowing how to fix your weird ass edge case in 30 seconds before crying to the CIO.

For games. I have replaced it with steam as you can load none steam games and run them under proton. I have had great success. Outside of games I’m not sure.

I wasn’t looking to get roasted for not knowing something. Guess that teaches me something else. Fuck people and thanking them for Shar something I didn’t know.

This helped a lot. I had no clue I could post the curl string in the URL bar of a browser to view the script. Thanks for the education!

I purchased my own equipment and I don’t have a static ipv4 so I’m not sure. I assume that you would have to pay for it.

Yikes, that sucks. I my first line July of 2023 and my second one in February of 2024. Both lines cost me $50 a month. Sucks the prices went up, but $70 unlimited speed (radio equipment is you limiter) and no caps (had 17tb a few months ago) is way better than any Comcast offering.

I have two lines and the second one automatically had this added. I had to get to an engineer to turn it off before figuring out this was the issue. My first line was not on by default.

My experience with T-Mobile home Internet was awful but I swapped to a T-Mobile business Internet plan. For the same cost I was now able to use my own hardware. All I had was a SIM from them. At best I have gotten 750ish MB down and 200ish MB up. For $50, not bad if you other option is coax.

RustDesk has been my remote desktop replacement. Chross platform so you can try it on Windows before you switch to see if it checks your boxes.

My iphone just updated to the version with liquid glass and it’s the worst thing I have every fucking seen. Wasted space on the edges, over exaggerated animations, moving buttons that are normal (contacts in the phone app) from 1 click to 2+ depending on what ever fucking mood is is in, the lag on all the buttons where things bop around right as you click as if it’s loading ads on a page right before clicking a URL. I gave it a week and then sold my phone and go and android. Hurts breaking an entirely apple ecosystem household, but fuck liquid glass.

Wild to see DisplayLink among the companies here.
There is no legend for the graph with colors.

I have never heard of this and with the average IQ of a Floridian I wouldn’t think they are in the know either.
???
This take is a first for me. Would you mind elaborating?
Hyundai has pulled the ioniq 6 but the ioniq 5 and soon to be ioniq3 are sold in the USA still. Unless there was some news I missed. For Kia, Im not sure what their status is.
