Walmart baked in house bread is close to the never molds variety. It uses modern GMO wheat with added preservatives and shortcut chemicals to reduce prep time from days to hours. Not to mention added sugars. Defending it would be like defending Subways “fresh baked bread” which isn’t even legally allowed to be called bread in certain European countries. At one point they were caught putting the stuff in foam yoga mats in their bread.

In my opinion, that “bread” is a very distant cousin of homemade sourdough spelt (or whatever locally sourced whole grains was available) traditional known as bread.

American here who learned the forbidden arts of fresh made whole grain sourdough. Ive never eaten store bought bread the same. It really is like a whole new food. First time I tried it I knew I had to learn to make it.

The Norwegians also have this crisp bread knekkebrod that every American i know think it tastes bland but I love them. I have considered life in Europe due to the fact they still have real bread readily available.

The only other things in this category for me are chinese fresh made hand pulled noodles (Biang Biang Mian is a good one) and garden ripened tomatoes. Sounds like a great excuse to do a tour of European China towns.

(I realize how insane that sounds but he just has the temperament of a teenage boy). So he is probably thinking of something even more insane to do to us in Cali or at least knows he’s playing with fire.

New York he is lowkey working on a deal with Cuomo (former mayor now running as a spoiler candidate to the socialist who beat him in the primary election).

Chicago is an easier target. The only other city I’ve heard him float is New Orleans (which is unlike any other city I’ve been to in the states for its amazing seafood, bars, walkable areas, music, eg culture… notably Black culture)

A lot of drugs are very addictive and ruin people’s lives. I’m well aware a lot of lives were ruined by the stigma attached to to drugs, but to swing from they are evil criminal people to just equating drug dealing with every other job is insane to me.

You know its bad when dude casually drops that he’s a drug dealer and we all collectively shrug, like yeah sounds about right.

I dont know if they have a paid version but their free version has worked for me.

Im sure there are many but I just learned of Crowdsecs WAF this year which is has a shared ban list. Its pretty cool. Im using it in prod right now. Im not saying it’s the be all end all, but as part of a multilayered approach, it works pretty well.
