Your assumption is correct, I only played singleplayer and talked about the singleplayer here.
I played a bit of Quake 3 Arena back in the days, but would consider the multiplayer part of Quake nearly its own thing.

Sure, its understandable to see it different if you experienced it back the in its original context.

Nazis are evil, by definition of their basic ideology being evil.
That still doesn’t change that they are 100 % human. They aren’t some kind of monsters that need eradication. They are humans, which need to be stopped by lethal force if necessary from enacting their plans to eradicate others. But they are and always will be part of humanity, even if a very evil part, that the rest of us doesn’t want to be compared to.

For Outer Wilds, maybe this video can help you decide if you want to push trough or not.

Outer Wilds (not Outer Worlds!) is a brilliant game that is hard to advertise without spoiling stuff. It is from the genre sometimes called metroidbrainia, where finding the puzzle solution through in game hints to progress is the game mechanic. So its possible to finish the game in 20 minutes, if you know what to do. But getting there usually takes you 20 hours.
Now to why its great:
Planescape Torment walked so that Disco Elysium could run. PT plays in the planescape setting of D&D, a world where belief is the foundation of everything, so with high enough stats, you can debate somebody into believing they don’t exist and they will vanish immediately.
You are in Sigil, the central city of the multiverse, directly in the middle of neutral. Neutral between the planes of Good and Evil but also between those of Chaos and Lawful. This neutrality needs to be enforced of course, which is the job of a nice woman called the Lady of Pain, which has the iron throne as headdress and cutting you down on the spot is the nicer treatment for offending her.
And I didnt even tell you of the protagonist, the Nameless One. You wake up in a morgue, update your journal all the time and try to find out why you can’t die. A former You was smart enough to try and give you some instructions via tattooing them onto your skin. So you take your wisecracking flying skull buddy and start looking for answers.
Yes, this game is weird and a lot of text with bad battle mechanics, but the good kind of weird and you don’t play PT for the fights, you play it for the world, the stories and the characters. For example the chaste succubus with a brothel for intellectual debate and no that is not an euphemism but 100% what it is. Play the game if you don’t believe me!
This is sneakily a recommendation for Disco Elysium as well, but PT is the more patient game, so I wanted to highlight that one more.
Well he did that all by himself all all the time! *badumtiss*

Your reading comprehension is the problem here, nobody but yourself is fucking with you, so I propose you calm down a bit before continuing to make an ass out of yourself.
Combat Wombat meant comparing between countries the train prices of a 250 km ride inside those countries and not comparing the prices of a 250 km ride over country borders.
And even in the beginning the question wasn’t comparing different modes of transportation but directly train prices.

The muzzle isnt for the kids benefit, its for the rest of us!
Yep, that is why the plot of Infinite was to me more a bunch of not fully thought through but cool sounding concepts instead of a proper and fully consistent story and world. I like the game for its art style, game play and atmosphere, but it is 100 % not making sense.
And now that you spell it out to me, I never realized before how directly contradicting that ending was to the whole concept of Bioshock 1.
Because to me it lost the point at the moment where they said:
There are infinite Raptures. Because then we only saved them in that one single world and there are unnumbered other worlds where saving them didnt happen. So why even care at that point or feel great for saving 1 out of an infinity?
Thanks for explaining it to me in more detail.
While I understand what you mean and agree that Infinite and its DLCs throws everything before out the window, I would argue that Fontaine was just the first bullet that killed Rapture but there were many more bullets waiting in the magazine, so to say. The oppression and inherent wrongness of Rapture, including the addictive behaviour of Adam combined with the inherent and even desired power structures would have driven it down the drain either way. Probably later than the New Years Eve party, but it was in my mind always on a path of self destruction.
And yeah, BioShock 2 was done without the involvement of Ken Levine, so he sadly didn’t really saw it as part of “his baby”. I liked BioShock 2 and Infinite, but Infinite felt more like an alternate canon spin off than part of the main series. For me they are simply similar but different beings, not of the same continuity.

So is it like saying
non-greek polytheistic pantheons didnt have Zeus
?

Didnt play them myself, but World of Horror and Look Outside are apparently good ones.

Oh nice! I forgot to link the post introducing them: Here
Can you explain it to me inside a spoiler? I played all from BioShock till BioShock Infinite & its DLCs years ago and can’t remember how it directly justifies Ryan?
Screencheat has up to 8 player support and is exactly its name.

Are there authoritarian governments who aren’t thin skinned? As far as I know, power projection at every level is their usual mode of operations, as everything else could be seen as weakness by their followers.

The text directly above it says Noworossiya, so something like New Russia.
After checking wikipedia: its the flag of the New Russia party in the Russian occupied regions of Ukraine.
True, that is something I forgot while writing it. But already the first level packs from 1997 are an improvement in my opinion.
