What a completely ignorant statement. Just because people posses negative views of religion doesn’t mean “no one wants to hear about”. How about actually disproving and arguing with good faith instead of posting such a meaningless ignorant comment?

“I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy, accompanied by an educational system which would be oriented toward social goals. In such an economy, the means of production are owned by society itself and are utilized in a planned fashion. A planned economy, which adjusts production to the needs of the community, would distribute the work to be done among all those able to work and would guarantee a livelihood to every man, woman, and child. The education of the individual, in addition to promoting his own innate abilities, would attempt to develop in him a sense of responsibility for his fellow-men in place of the glorification of power and success in our present society.” – Albert Einstein, Why Socialism

11·2 months agoi haven’t thought about that to be honest. Reading the articles, it was just as if the nukes were somehow magically developed when Ukraine became “independent”. Good point. Another thing I wanted to say, but couldn’t as it would trigger a defense mechanism making them even more ignorant than they already are, is that Ukraine, Russia, and 13 other were never even states to begin with. Reading sources, almost every single one had the narrative of x gaining independence from the USSR as if before the USSR there were multiple states. Another aspect of this is when non-marxist people and scholars discuss a region in the USSR, they talk about it as if its some kind of occupied entity not as if it’s a region of the USSR like for example Beijing is city in The PRC, which is the actual case.

3·2 months agoHello comrade. My goal would be a group of informed marxists while still being inclusive for non radicals, but that would be delusional in my area and my age group, so I’m looking to making you average inclusive marxist study group made to educate ourselves, read collectively, discuss about the book, and of course, like you mentioned, discuss our personal lives, geopolitics, and the global marxist struggle. Lebanon lacks these study groups and the youth need to be introduces to marxism in a capitalist imperialist world. A more personal aspect is I lack comrades, so this way, I can help make ones, or find ones though I doubt it. I’m following https://unity-struggle-unity.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Study-Group-Interior-Pocketbook.pdf, which I saw linked on the prolewiki. I’ll definitely try to keep weekly updates and document to guide other radicals getting organised in their respected schools. “Give me just one generation of youth, and I’ll transform the whole world” -Vladimir Lennin

2·2 months agoAlright, thanks. While I did check out the guide to organizing study group pamphlet at first, it opened an introduction(ish) and an “about the author” section, so I got confused, but I just saw the pdf link that was right in front of me in the first place

3·2 months agoI meant more irl. Online, it’s easy to find such groups as the internet is a means of connecting people on an international level. Irl I’m stuck to a more local level, and while I might be able to get 1,2, or maximum of 3 close friends to join, I don’t see a way of expansion especially in an increasingly reactionary social media, which usually results in teens leaning right. By the way, what do you mean by AES? At first in another post you responded to, I thought you meant advanced encryption standard, but that isn’t related to this.
