Based on the quotes around American zionists, I feel pretty strongly that the article added it

2·6 days agoTo be clear, I don’t think in terms of good guys and bad guys. I do think resisting the US and Israel with force is a good thing and especially a good thing in the middle east. That doesn’t mean I think everything the Iranian government does is good. I’ve seen quite a lot of distressing news about the police there, for example. Even if I withhold judgement about this particular case, I’ve read quite a few stories similar to this trial. Which seems bad to me. But, honestly, what do we know about the justice system in Iran? How can I judge it fairly?

I’m not saying the security forces in Iran are nice or good.

if you want to paint the Iranians as uniquely evil, I would point to what happens in the US if you were up to punch an officer “several times”.
In any case, this story is a propaganda piece to make people like you feel like dropping a bunch of explosives on civilians in order to “free” them from an oppressive regime. It’s incredibly incredibly obvious to me. But apparently, to you, you want to debate the finer points of the Iranian justice system.

7·6 days agoThey can’t? Lose your “revolution” and then you get executed is kind of how these things go.
Unless you live in the US then you get to be president again

21·6 days agoI just… Can’t with you people. Can you have please just a little media literacy and knowledge of current events.
The west has never ever cared about Iranians. Or Iranian civilians. Sanctions are despicable tools to deliberately harm civilians in order to destabilize a government.
Trump, the buffoon, has acknowledged US and Israeli regime change efforts earlier this year by supplying (with arms) and supporting any dissenters.
This article does not mention the thousands of civilians killed by US and Israeli bombs and sanctions but does mention “thousands” killed during a (treasonous) revolt against the Iranian government supported by hostile foreign powers.
For all you liberals, imagine the jan 6 rioters getting deserved death sentences and amnesty international declaring that the Biden “regime” was abusing “political dissent”

62·7 days agoMy political stance is we tally up all the military “aid” we’ve sent Israel, adjust for inflation and then give Hamas the same dollar amount, today.
I’m a centrist, after all. I think both sides have a point so we should arm both sides the same.

21·11 days agoThis attitude is naive. Why do guns build a society of individualism distrust and violence. That’s non sensicle. And if demonstrates you haven’t thought through any of this.

Fuck the right lol
