I’m in my late 40’s and going back to school via online courses. I about pulled what’s left of my hair out going round and round with a professor that kept marking me off, with a note stating “You should not use chat or AI programs to do your work”. The work that I wrote.
Had not even thought to use any; Im old and set in my ways already, have enough going on making sure I am using the right class programs needed and, this was a required side course, not really anything difficult to me yet (could have skipped it if my previous schooling hadn’t been sooo far previous).

Took over a dozen emails back and forth with me begging her to tell me how she surmised my writing was done by anything other than myself. Offering to have a 1:1 video session where she could watch me write, offering to record myself and send it alongside my work, anything.
She finally responded that she goes online and has AI tell her if a submitted document was written by AI. Never would say which site(s) so that I could do my own pre-checking, nothing on our library site or course links and documents that referred one to use either.

So. That is how I started using AI and let various chat programs complete the remainder of that course for me. Since, for some unholy reason, the assignments done that way were no longer flagged for AI use.
This is also how I learned I despise this technology and that cunt who can go fuck off with her own AI loving, short cut using, bitch ass.

  • How much media that is put out is just because people engage with scandalous shit? If people didn’t, we might not have had to deal with reality shows or viral media apps. Of course there will be people using social media that want to be part of that. Sex and scandals sell.

I do think it’s odd that you think that me sharing my own views is patronizing you. I just gave my 2cents, from my personal experience, relating to cheating partners. Not all cheaters are poly, seen many cheaters choose a monogamous relationship later in life. They were just too cowardly to be open and honest with their partner(s) or worse (in my opinion), openly lied to a partner about their cheating. Some were poly, and it was a realization they were aiming for a relationship they didn’t really want, but had been raised by a society that said they did, and had tried to believe it. Does not excuse the cheating though.

My real only point is/was: Whatever your sexual preferences are, lying to an intimate partner about who you are intimate with is a shit move, and makes that liar shitty.

  • That link shows a chicken with pigtails?

Anyway… being poly isn’t a bad thing. Being poly and lying to a partner that your monogamous, kinda is. If one party of a relationship changes their mind after commitments are made, the other party should be made aware before anything is acted on. If not, they are a lying piece of shit that can’t be trusted. Pretending to be monogamous just to trick someone into a relationship until your bored with them, despicable.

Edit, lost my last word on posting.

If your talking about the tag at the bottom of the shirt, below the buttons, I have a shirt that has a tag like that. So sadly, that item isn’t an indicator of anything hokey 🫤

It does seem odd that he is dressed and looking like he’s just waiting to be given the ok for discharge, when apparently he has not been.
I could see a public figure getting a bit done up while staying in, if they expected to have a handful of visitors for photo ops and press releases, when again, apparently he has not, aside from this one odd pic.

  • McBride hosts a YouTube channel titled “Judgment Day With Joe McBride.” He claims that someone attempted to assassinate him for his role representing January 6 defendants by remotely taking control of his 2020 BMW X5 M-Sport and attempting to cause him to crash at high speed. He additionally claims that in the aftermath of this assassination attempt, his 2020 BMW X5 M-Sport would only drive in reverse, and that he drove from the Fort McHenry Tunnel to Washington D.C. (approximately 39 miles) in reverse.[39]

He additionally claims that he simultaneously experienced Lyme Disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, the Epstein-Barr virus, and long COVID after being vaccinated for COVID-19.[40]

  • I wouldn’t have gone to the site if you wouldn’t have noted that!

That was actually a bit more interesting than I expected. The funeral homes sued her for practicing without a license as funeral director/embalmer. Which, isn’t what they do. But they do probably take money away from funeral homes by discussing different ways to go.
I myself, really want to be put in a body farm!!

  • We have a fluffy tuxedo girl we call spicy!

She has progressed since we got her, mostly angry noises and dirty looks now, instead of outright fighting, when we have to do maintenance stuff (nails, dingleberry on that floofy booty). Actually gets in bed with us now or sits in the middle of our couch while we watch a show (we have one of those couches where the middle folds down for a table and cup holders. It now sports a blanket for her in the table part).

Love you for accepting her and not dismissing her as a difficult cat!!

  • Society as a whole reducing or no longer tipping would make a big impact. My current State requires wait staff to be paid at the same standard state minimum all other positions have to. The employer has to make up wages to at least State minimum in one’s that don’t. Which is what the majority of the kitchen and bussers make. If servers are not getting Far better than minimum (at least at the dozens of chain restaurants I’ve worked at) they quit.

Boy though, would the transition (were it to occur) suuuuck for a lot of folks. So I don’t even pretend to know the best way to start.

Should servers make more on average than cooks (who are responsiblefor both the taste and cleanliness of your food)? Probably an entirely different discussion.

Should a restaurant pay all workers a fair wage or go out of business because they rely on patrons to make up for their shiity pay hierarchy? I say yes.

I will also say, there is a difference between a chain restaurant and a local owned establishment. (Insert chain restaurant here) wants me to tip their servers 20% for a subpar service, just because it’s expected? … they can go suck socks. They can much better afford to pay each server that extra 20% than I. Aunt Margie’s diner, who always has good food and what appears to be genuinely attentive and kind staff? Absofuckinglutely.

Side note. This is also why I always bring cash for tips, that way the server can opt to disclose what they wish. A real tip, in a fair world, imho, should be just for them. No taxes, no payroll accountancy.

…that got… long. Uhhh thanks for coming to my Ted talk?
