Its a checklist the developers made for you. How is that anywhere near completing the game itself? I get this is my unpopular opinion but you dont need achievements to complete a game, or to track a game, or to prove you beat it. You can just play the game. Exceptions to this are things like SoT’s commendations that actually give you unlocks. I exclusively only do the ones that lead to some in game reward item or something. Achievement score go up feels like a microcosm of billionaire brain rot.

I cared when Bungie gave you the Recon armor set for having the vidmaster achievements. That was the last time.

This stance still doesnt make sense. The average user is effected by the quality degrading design choices crammed into windows. None of that transfers to Linux.
