Does this mean they optimized for CPU instead of GPU? I doubt they target Intel GPUs tbh, so they really optimized for CPU… interesting!

1·25 days agoif you keep enshittifying the file management systems, this will happen.
I agree; the best option is to ditch Android … those who can do it. Some Banking apps, public transport ticket apps, and post/mail-delivery apps seem to be a hard requirement for people in real live though. Which leads to the question: But what about people who can not ditch their phones and can not afford multiple devices (this decade)? Maybe laws that introduce a hard requirement that everything should work through a (open source) web-browser can help, but then what about “offline” use cases?
It feels like we are building our own digital prison in real time.

I was not aware how bad some of the new features have made youtube, since I almost never go there anymore “directly”, I use alternative frontends like nadeko.net provides, so thanks for posting this. Once this loophole is closed, I will loose my favorite creators forever, if they do not migrate to other platforms, or start blogging like this guy.
