Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's a piece of Media that is so underrated you must mention it?
2·6 days agohave you read the books? because the show does not follow them at all.
That said, the show is pretty interesting and incredibly beautiful.
Apparently that reddit post itself was generated with AI. Using AI to bash AI is an interesting flex.

Linux@lemmy.world•Where is Linux not working well in your daily usage? Share your pain points as of 2026, so we can respectfully discussEnglish
2·30 days agoNot a real big issue, but sometimes (not all the time) when my Ubuntu OS (24.04.3 LTS) puts my desktop to sleep (automatically after 2 hours idle) when I go to wake it up it’s as if I’ve rebooted. All my applications are closed, I have to login etc, but it doesn’t really do a full boot sequence with the option to enter BIOS etc.
Like I said, not a big deal as I’m not (usually) dumb enough to leave unsaved work sitting around, but it is kind of annoying.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•I've written a series of blog posts about a "hands-off" self-hosting setup intended for relative beginners.English
1·7 months agoI’ve been following your posts to set up some self hosting and it’s been going well so far, thank you!
I have noticed that a lot of the images in the posts don’t seem to be loading (422 errors), it hasn’t been too much of a deal breaker so far but in the section about running tailscale in a container and editing the acls file there’s a couple images that are showing the before and after of this file that aren’t loading for me. Hopefully this is something that isn’t too difficult for you to fix.
Thanks again for these posts, I’ve learned a lot so far and even got jellyfin working on my phone outside my local network using tailscale.
So… these people just hang out at the library all day every day?
