That’s simplifying it a bit. It wasn’t particularly accurate because it didn’t really take into account the fire-proofing that people had done to their properties while insurance companies were planning to use it to set rates. It wasn’t meant to be used the way it was.

I don’t disagree. Basically what we’re told justice is.

We have a hyper sense of justice instilled in us from a young age. It’s like the basis of our country (or so we’re taught).

Or he was a senior partner at the firm. I’ve literally dealt with this before.
Ah. Well, we had those types too back in the day. Hopefully he gets the help he needs. If not then there’s still a chance his motivation will overcome his diagnosis, but I’m not a childhood ADHD expert. I only work with adults for their meds and such.
Can I ask how old he is? I was doing that when I was like 5 or 6. But I was born in the '80s so I had a parent that could teach me and let me figure out the rest as it came. Also helped we had color-coded RCA jacks and I could reach magazines and manuals by the time s-video was common enough.
lmao, don’t worry, they have the electronic record of the real trades.
If were to have kids my plan is to start by locking down my kid’s devices in increasingly stronger ways as they learn new workarounds. Just for this reason.
Having a hobo posse on your side is magical. I got cred when a homeless guy saw me stand up to a literal Nazi with a knife harassing ICE protestors. Every time I ran into Bushwhacker, the hobo, he would tell his friends the story of that day, gradually exaggerating the events with every telling.
Where have you been able to accomplish this? Any groups we can hook up with that are getting the job done? Or places online or in-person that interested and worried Americans can join the cause? Because I’m seeing a lot of theorieticals from you but nothing more. It feels more like you’re telling everyone else to do it. Maybe you’re not in the US, which would be confusing because you keep saying “we.”
What tips, in your experience, can you give everyone in achieving those relentless weekday protests you’ve been doing? Any mutual aid orgs you can point people to in order to pay bills and take care of children and not lose their job and health insurance? Or for the seniors that need safe transportation? We’re all ears. Seems like mass weekend protests should be pretty doable for most folks unless you’ve got some other trick we can all use.
And then the tour getting cancelled for COVID and then Zack fucking his ankle was a real bummer.
