We have a whole team standing quick call at 8am every morning where everyone goes through everything they are doing. It lasts 1-4 hours, every day.

I’m unsure if sheet glass can bend that far, at that thickness, or if it can heal itself after bend stress kicks in.

There is no other material choice other than an elastic polymer aka a soft plastic. They also will always have plastic deformation without intervention. They could for instance invent a polymer that self heals with added heat, which the battery could supply.
Either you take it and pay and sell or keep, or the estate pays off the creditor and then you can sell it.
Because it’s just one anecdote and the reason for the result is important. If it’s cultural, then we can generalize the reduction possibly to zero… If it’s not then we cannot expect that. I don’t believe it’s mostly cultural and don’t believe we should expect significant extinction in a general population.
That shows that exposure causes an overall reduction in response, but doesn’t support the conclusion that it’s a cultural construction in the first place, nor that at a population level that it trends towards zero. It’d be interesting to quantify the reduction, though I’d bet it’s a smaller effect overall than one might think.
You are entirely neglecting instinctual responses. I seriously doubt you could normalize responses as you suggest.

Depression is a luxury of human social bonds, modern safety, and excess. Without that, yes, you get too lazy or too low “value” and Darwin gets you. But that’s pretty archaic thinking that doesn’t really apply to modern society.

This is actual advice. You need mental support before you will be successful with changing your diet habits, and all the reasons for that are really apparent in this thread, and you’re dismissing that’s the case as a defensive mechanism.

Everyone thinks they are a unique case, but when you’ve seen enough examples, it’s not a lot to assume. There is a lot of other evidence within your initial post, other responses and how you wrote about it, such as speed eating versus siblings carrying into current day, coupled with depression issues… It’s many factors and I’ve seen it 1000’s of times. Be prepared to suffer, being hungry, and eating a lot less. There are no secrets, but you will fail if you don’t get your mind right, as you will find loopholes and excuses forever.

This kind of behavior tells me you have little to no hope on any plan without a major change in your psychology. You will just find a loophole and fail.

Why would he have any say? Isn’t this type of thing decided by the panels for the committees/departments that were funded? He signs the budget, but shouldn’t directly control what every single department does.

Even the claim it’s perjury is dubious, as you can consider the facts of a case and conclude not guilty for any reason. The line between premeditated not guilty and “considering the facts” first then rendering not guilty anyway, is incredibly thin.

Nothing is real or can be considered real anymore. We are going to need new frameworks to handle a world where video of illegal or embarrassing things can be trivially created by anyone.
People saying the Ai vendor should be liable, but that’s short-sighted for a world where anyone can do this at home with largely anonymous distribution.

We also don’t officially declare war.

Physical versions only have value of they are complete and relatively bug free, and originally purposed to avoid big downloads.
Nowadays day 1 patching may be the same size as the install or larger negating half the point. The other half is lost because almost everything is a subscription, multi-player, or delivered with too many bugs as a beta test.
Collecting physical copies is a thing, but is niche.

I don’t really see it that way. Both are premised on magical thinking without proof, via sensory misinterpretation, resulting in unfounded conjecture and illogical leaps, conspiracy, and ultimately cult following. Both can be disproven given sufficient information, but one is obviously orders of magnitude easier to disapprove.
Both are ‘too fun to give up subcultures’ and can result in and from the same paranoid delusional base.

Usually the lawsuit itself isn’t considered damages. Maybe in this case he was awarded something, but usually it costs a ton. You get what you sued for awarded, but often nothing else. At 20 hours for self service, which isn’t possible for most people to deal with properly, you’re in for at least that plus court appearance fee… Maybe 500/hr from a lawyer all in starting… 10,000 minimum. This guy got his out of pocket costs covered and probably not all of them, but nothing for time.

Wonder how he got this done. Hiring a lawyer and setting this up and going to court can cost tens of thousands of dollars.
It’s chaos. No training, no documentation of anything. Calls are mandatory, office is 4:1 schedule, we have colleagues all over, hence the calls.
